Ripon to Naburn the Ure and Ouse, Easter 2010
Day 1. Ripon to Boroughbridge. A short day due, only 6 miles to dropping the cars off at Naburn. Camping in Ripon with only a short walk into the town for all the usual amenities. Three locks at Bell Furrows, Oxclose and Westwick with a campsite on the right just before the motorway at Boro'bridge. Initially the restored canal is very narrow, but widens out with the addition of the river Ure joining shortly after the start.
